Tetra Pond Pond Fish Treatment
Treats Koi and Goldfish infected by protozoan parasites, including Ichthyopthirius multifilis (Ick or white spot), Costia, Chilodonella, and Trichondina. Treats and prevents pond fish diseases. Controls external parasites, bacteria, and fungi that can cause infection. The handy measuring cap ensures proper dosage.
Calculate pond gallons: Length (ft.) X Width (ft.) X Average Depth (ft.) = cubic feet. Cubic feet X 7.5 = pond gallons.
Dosage: 10 ml for every 50 gallons of tap water. (use top of supplied screw cap). 1/4 cup (60 ml) for every 300 gallons of pond water. (Dedicate use of measuring cup to pond water treatments only)
Dilute the exact dosage in a bucket of water. Pour the diluted mixture into the pond evenly along the edges and in the middle. Stir the water with hose spray or stick to further distribute the solution throughout the pond.
Dose in the Spring when water temperatures exceed 53 degrees and again in Summer to prevent hidden diseases and infections.
Treatment of infections when signs of fish disease or infection are present, dose the pond immediately. Re-dose after 7 days if signs of infections and disease are still present. For outdoor ornamental ponds only. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use in ponds intended for human consumption. Do not use this treatment in combination with other pond treatments.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause allergic reaction. Vapor irritating. Use only in well ventilated area. Wear protective gloves when handling. In case of contact with skin or eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately. Induce vomiting ONLY if instructed to do so by medical personnel.
